5,000 Followers is a great start

POSTED July 1st, 2009 by CampPhotoshop

I just rolled over 5,000 Twitter followers. Twitter is one of the most exciting things I’ve done in association with CampPhotoshop.com.

First I want to say thanks to all who follow. I’ve never felt like I had a better pulse on the world of design and Photoshop. I've received so much helpful information that I’ve completely lost count. And thanks for the great conversations. Much of my Photoshop This Week Top Five blog posts come from tweets.  read more

TWIP: Easy Listening for Photographer

POSTED June 29th, 2009 by CampPhotoshop

I’d heard about TWIP or This Week in Photography several weeks ago while listening to one of Leo Laport’s many podcasts. I finally got around to listening to a few episodes. If you geek out on photography and photographic equipment there’s a good chance you’ll like this podcast.  read more

POSTED June 26th, 2009 by CampPhotoshop
Goodbye Kodachrome

Seems like a slow Photoshop week. But that doesn't mean this weekly list takes a break! I was sad when I heard Kodachrome was going away (item #1). If you are a Mac user that collects Photoshop Brushes check out item three. As usual, I post this list each week. That’s right, each and every week! If you find it interesting, make sure and check out my past and future editions. Subscribe to this blog’s RSS feed – and don’t hesitate to let me know if I missed something!  read more

Big Thunder Western Themed Font Review

If you’ve been to a Disney park you may have taken a ride on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Now you can use a western font that captures that gold mine train flavor with Big Thunder from David Occhino of davidocchino.com. David is going to spoil us with these great monthly releases.  read more

FREE Vintage Envelope Photoshop Template

POSTED June 14th, 2009 by CampPhotoshop

A new CampPhotoshop.com layered PSD freebie is now available. This is a high resolution vintage envelope with vintage stamps and cancellation. I love vintage postage stamps, they're real works of art that feel as old as they look (I actually have the stamp used in the design as I collect vintage items for inspiration and use in my work). This PSD will work great for vintage designs such as old letters/envelopes, create postage stamp themed designs or make scrap-booking backgrounds. This is all layered so you can edit and use as you like.  read more
