As of this week there have been 188 episodes of PhotoshopUser TV over the last 3 and a half years. That’s quite a feat for any television show or even a video podcast. If you’re into podcasts like I am you notice they come and go and many don’t produce content on a regular schedule.
Photoshop User TV is a 30 minuet podcast and TV show (it runs on some cable channel but I’ve never seen it there). It features “The Photoshop Guys,” Dave Cross, Matt Kloskowski, and Scott Kelby talking Photoshop.
So why watch PhotoshopUser TV?
- Tutorials - Some of the tutorials are super simple, some more complex and they are fresh each week
- Photography tips - Scott Kelby seems to be a photographer at heart so he is always happy to share his own photography tips and those he’s learned from others.
- Product reviews and endorsements - These guys can save you some money by letting you know which Photoshop plug-ins are worth your investment or what’s the best lens for the money for portrait photography.
- Interesting guests and interviews - Although interviews and guests are a bit rare on PhotoshopUser TV when they appear they almost always add fresh and new insights for Photoshop users and photographers. I particularly liked the recent interview with copyright attorney Ed Greenberg.
- More tutorials - They call it “one for the road”. It’s just a very quick tip such as a keyboard shortcut you may not have been aware of.
- Free stuff - These is always some sort of “can you identify this Photoshop menu, dialogue box, or application message” contest with at least one prize. Around Photoshop World time each year they even give away a Photoshop World pass or two.
- Silly banter - Yes there is silly banter between the Photoshop geeks, I mean "The Photoshop Guys." Enough said. Really guys, enough said.
There is one other reason I like PhotoshopUser TV, Matt Kloskowski mentioned CampPhotoshop.com a few months ago!
