Big Thunder Western Themed Font Review

Big Thunder Western Themed Font Review

If you’ve been to a Disney park you may have taken a ride on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Now you can use a western font that captures that gold mine train flavor with Big Thunder from David Occhino of davidocchino.com. David is going to spoil us with these great monthly releases.

Here's how David describes his new font, "Big Thunder is a western style font straight from the days of whistling steam trains and gold mines of the Wild West. Thick lines and sturdy serifs combine to create the rugged spirit of the Gold Rush era and mountain wilderness."

Big Thunder includes six styles: three "small caps" styles complement and work with the regular, outline and beveled versions. Plus there's free western font Big Thunder Dingbats for free. Big Thunder Dingbats matches Big Thunder’s theme perfectly. With Big Thunder in hand, the old west is a dusty cowboy hat and spurs away.

Big Thunder, the same as all of David's fonts, is a real value at only $20 forpersonal use. That $20 includes all six styles.

Make sure and check out other recent releases Basestar (Battlestar Galactia font) Emblem (car font), Nautilus (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea font), TradeWind (pirate font) and Hocus Pocus (Harry Potter font).

As usual I like to have a little fun with David's new fonts. The design below is a design I did for a family member’s local restaurant. Now if I can just persuade them to use this design! Selling a client is much harder than creating the design.
