Fastest Way To Load PS Brushes (For Mac Users)


 

If you use Photoshop on a Mac I have the fastest way to load new brushes. You simply double click on thebrush set .ABR file. Once you do that you'll be jumped to Photoshop and the brush set you double clicked on will be available. It's just that simple.

In a few days I will use Photoshop on a Mac, so now I dont need to worry about it.

This works in Windows too -

This works in Windows too - you just need to set PS (or PSE, whatever you use) as the default program for opening .abr files. To do that, right click on an .abr file and choose Open With... and choose the program. Look at the bottom of the dialog box and there is a little box to check that says "make this the default program for this type of file". Check that, then whenever you double click on a .abr file, it will load that brush set into your brushes palette - ready to use!!
