Besides the swimming pool, amusement parks, vacations and 4th of July fireworks summer is also about movies. For me that also means cool (or hot) movie posters too! Turner Classic Movies is doing something special. Each day in August TMC will feature some of the best film actresses and actors. They call it "Summer Under the Stars.”
Now here’s the part that will interested creative Photoshop users...TCM hired designers to create re-imagined posters for some of the classic films they will show in August.
Moviegoods.com has set up a beautiful survey that show each poster and lets you vote on your favorite. I voted for the “To Catch a Thief” poster. I think it really captures the flavor of the movie. Put in your vote, enjoy the great visuals and some old movies if you can break away from your other summer activities.
