I ran across several movie poster related items that caught my attention this week so I decided to do a 100% movie poster list this week. Enjoy! As usual, I post this list each week. - 50 Brilliantly Photoshopped Movie Posters: This is a nice collection from psd.tuts+. Here’s how Danny Outlaw describe describes his collection: “Movie posters are meant to be attention grabbing, captivating, stunning and intriguing. The designers have a large canvas to work from, so their creativity has few limits. Because of this, movie posters can result in some of the smartest graphic design you'll ever see.”
- Basestar Battlestar Galactica Font: Ok so Battlestar Galactica is a TV show not a movie but you could dream up your own BSG spinoff movie poster using this great Battlestar Galactica font from David Occhino.
- Where The Wild Things Are: I’m not sure if there’s Photoshop work here but this looks very fun. The font looks very interesting and the tag line “There’s one in all of us” is engaging.
- My Suicide Movie Poster: This is an interesting and unique approach to a movie poster. It also caught my eye because it relates to a set of kids school notebook doodles I’m working on. I’ll mention more about this soon.
- One Letter Off: Photoshop and movie posters is the perfect combination. Check out the fun entries in the Worth1000.com Photoshop Contest.
