Photoshop This Week

I’m back on track getting this weeks list together nice and early. This weeks list is full of mind-blowing, creative learning and fun! As usual, I post this list each week (once in a while a little late). If you find it interesting, make sure and check out my past and future editions. 1. Some thoughts about the PSD format: You may or may not have given the PSD file format much though. In either case you should consider reading this insightful blog post by Adobe’s John Nack.
  2. Learn to Be More Creative: John Paul Caponigro thinks you can “Learn to Be More Creative”. I say why not and check out this short and sweet list!
  3. How to Turn Humdrum Photos into Cinematic Portraits: This is just too cool to not take a look at. Thanks to James Davies for this psd tuts. Found via the Photoshoplady.com.
  4. 53 Mind-blowing Uses of Typography: 53 great inspiritations! Thanks to Danny Outlaw for putting this together.
  5. Photoshop In Action: Simple and fun one from Photoshoplab.com. Here’s how it’s described, “This is a great video put together by Mike Kus of him preparing slides for a speech at the “Future of Web Design” Conference in London. It’s an interesting process to watch as it’s all done in Photoshop. Too fast to be educational on technique but definitely inspirational for style.”
