Each week as I put this list together I’m trying to balance between items I’m interested in and items you might be interested in. Ultimately it’s weighted to what items I find interesting. This week is no exception, I cover Megan Fox, space, illustration, Deke and camera gear. A standard geek list.
- Need Some Space... Images?: Thanks John Nack for pointing out this great NASA resource of 3D models, textures, and images from inside NASA. I feel a cool space illustration coming on.
- Comic Con poster for Jonah Hex: This is a cool poster. Is it the lighting, coloe and smoke that make it interesting or is it Megan Fox?
- Amazing Illustrations by Joy Ang: This is a nice set of inspiration put together by abduzeedo. Here’s what thye say, “Her illustrations are truly inspiring: her use of colors, her trace, and the smoothness of each work is stunning, and I just can't get enough of this!” So check it out already.
- Introducing Photoshop Top 40: Deke promises for the next 40 weeks to show Photoshop’s 40 most essential feature in a new video podcast. There are two released so far.
- New Online Classes From Kelby Training: I don’t normally mention every new online training class I hear of but I did want to mentioned this one. Laurie Excell has a new class called “How to Clean your DSLR Sensor.” I mention this not because we all need to clean our DSLR sensors but because I like Laurie Excell . I was lucky enough to be in one of her Photoshop World pre conferences a couple of years ago and was amazed by by knowledge and what I learned. It changed the way I shoot. So make sure and check out her classes on kelbytraining.com.
