Is Photoshop World heading towards being oriented towards Photoshop users focused on photography? I’m certain that many Photoshop users (including myself) use Photoshop to work on photographic images. But there are also thousands (if not millions) of users who do other things with Photoshop like build web sites. I hadn’t fully grasped this issue until I had an extended hotel bar conversation with Peter Bauer (Author of shop CS3 For Dummies) at The Peabody April 3rd (the Peabody is the hotel of choice for Photoshop World 2008 Orlando attendees). Mr. Bauer pointed out there are currently no training tracks at Photoshop World oriented towards web design. My desire is that’s only a temporary deficit in the curriculum. Time (and possibly comments from a few others like myself) will tell.

I just came from a seminar
I just came from a seminar today that expounded upon the fact that marketers are pouring more and more of their budgets into online. What a perfect segway into teaching people to use the program to design for the Web. I'd like to see more national seminars focus on this important topic.
