I’d heard about TWIP or This Week in Photography several weeks ago while listening to one of Leo Laport’s many podcasts. I finally got around to listening to a few episodes. If you geek out on photography and photographic equipment there’s a good chance you’ll like this podcast.
This is a bunch of guys and gals who love photography talking about what’s new and what they are doing as it relates to photography. The participates include people like Frederick Johnson, Steve Simon, Ron Brinkmann, Scott Bourne, Alex Lindsay and others. Occasionally they bring in guests or special interviews. The guests and interviews keep the discuss livly and interesting.
Although the podcast is the centerpiece of This Week in Photography you can also participate in a Monthly Photo Assignment contest, submit questions, Flicker oriented critiques and comments and join in the Listener Forum.
Listening to podcasts is a low commitment activity for me so it’s easy for me to work it in. If you’ve got a little free ear time give TWIP a try.
