I’m in the process of compiling a list of great Photoshop blogs and visual inspirations. There’s a site I’d really like to put on the list but it’s not really a Photoshop blog. It’s an Adobe After Effects blog and training site called Video Copilot.
So why mention it here? It’s inspirational and entertaining. It’s the best web site on After Effect paid or unpaid that I’m aware of. I must confess that I follow Andrew Kramer and his Video Copilot site very closely. I follow it for three reasons:
- I’m convinced that Andrew is a great businessman.
- His work is inspirational even if you don’t use After Effects.
- His tutorials, while educational, are also very entertaining.
He does all this stuff for free. All he asks is that you consider buying his great valued products. I happen to own all of his products. Every single one is world class. Yes I do some work in After Effects. But even if you’re not interested in After Effects you can use his sound effects for audio productions or even import some of his video products into Photoshop. (I need to do a video in Photoshop tutorial!).
Make sure and stop by videocopilot.net to check out Andrew’s site update. It went live August 1st. Oh yea he’s having a 15% off sale through August 5th.

I'm a fan of Andrew Kramer
I'm a fan of Andrew Kramer and Video Copilot. I believe he is inspiring a new generation of motion graphic artists. I hope Adobe shoots him a couple of fazools for what he's done for After Effects.
