In this 2-part how-to Photoshop CS3 tutorial I demonstrate how to create a gold skin tone using layers, blending modes, gradient overlay the pen tool, and smart objects. Make sure to watch part 1 and part 2 to get the full finished effect. In addition to creating a gold skin, this effect can be used to create a variety of skin tone colors. It can also be used to color tone other objects. Post your ideas here if you come up with other uses for this approach.
