If you use Photoshop on a Mac I have the fastest way to load new brushes. You simply double click on thebrush set .ABR file. Once you do that you'll be jumped to Photoshop and the brush set you double clicked on will be available. It's just that simple.

I've been very busy using every spare minute I can find to make the final elements for PhotoshopIsland.com. I've been having a great time editing with the just released the just release Final Cut Studio 3 or more specifically Final Cut Pro 7 for editing, Motion 4 for motion graphics and Compressor 3.5 to get it online.  read more

In this 2-part how-to Photoshop CS3 tutorial I demonstrate how to create a gold skin tone using layers, blending modes, gradient overlay the pen tool, and smart objects. Make sure to watch part 1 and part 2 to get the full finished effect. In addition to creating a gold skin, this effect can be used to create a variety of skin tone colors. It can also be used to color tone other objects. Post your ideas here if you come up with other uses for this approach.
