It seems very appropriate that I'm posting this on a Saturday night. Ok, you may or may not have heard about Donnie Hoyle and the YouTube.com series You Suck at Photoshop. If you haven’t and you love Photoshop and great comedy, check it out (warning adult content).
As a Photoshop ACE myself. I couldn’t help but be entertained by the 10 tutorials Donnie posted. I knew that it had to be someone who actually understood the program. I thought there was a chance that Donnie was actually Deke McClelland. Deke seems to have a great sense of humor and is a Photoshop ninja. I also thought it might be someone from the Scott Kelby group.
Finally the truth is out. Time Online has exposed the real Donnie Hoyle. It’s a couple of ad agency guys from Covington, Kentucky. Having worked at an agency for a few years myself, I should have known. There's a Donnie at every agency.
There's great news too! The guys are on to a new series called Snatchbuckler's Second Chance. It’s not Photoshop oriented but it does pick up where Donnie Hoyle left off. So maybe we’ll see more of Donnie?

I don't get it, why did they
I don't get it, why did they quit? It was so funny and they could have continued it for years and made some mula off of Donnie...I miss Donnie already! :-(

I'm just guessing but maybe they wanted to move on to other comedy bits. That's the impression I got from the Time article. But they did tease that Donnie could be back.
